ok, i've eaten ther twice in the last couple days.
it is really good.

first of all I am totally psyched that i believe this is the first restaurant in orange county (if not all of southern cali) to use not only teese vegan cheese from chicago soy dairy, but also their Temptation vegan ice cream. i've been seeing ads for temptation in vegnews for the longest time now, this is the first place i have actually seen it. I had the chocolate ice cream (with fudge whipped cream and nuts) and it was awesome!!
Greens Cafe has a really big menu, i've only tried a couple things, but everything so far is really good. I had the crispy sticks appetizer, which were really tasty, yum yum fries, which were tempura battered sweet potato wedges, jumping for joy fried rice, which was a nice change from typical fried rice, it was multigrain brown rice, that was really tasty too.

everybody get over there and support this restaurant, super friendly staff, nice tables and interior, and awesome food.

My son lives in Mission Viejo, so we visited this restaurant yesterday. We ate Crystal Wraps (spring rolls) with an awesome peanut sauce, the Loving Earth Salad, and seasonal vegetables with another version of a peanut sauce. We're so glad we found this new place. Possibly because they've only been open a couple of months, the staff was anxious to hear that we loved everything. They were extremely eager to please, with a very comfortable setting. It was very quiet, with only one other party present (I hope this changes!). Thanks for the tip-we never would have just "found" this place. It's a great addition to Native Foods, Wheel of Life, and the new Veggie Grill for South County-Dana

i'm so glad you liked it
we have gone there almost every other day.
the owners are so nice.
i just tried the roof top spaghetti, and that was really good too.
if you ever want to try something fried, the crispy sticks and the yum yum fries are both really tasty.

I'm so jealous! My non-vegan friend ate there for lunch yesterday. Even sent me pics from his phone raving about it. I gotta get my but out to Irvine!

Was gonna bring me back a cupcake (ahem!) but all they had was ice cream.

actually the cupcakes are on hold at greens.
there might be some management changes coming up soon.

Greens Cafe is now owned by Loving Hut, making this the 4th loving hut location in orange county.
They havent changed the name yet, so I'm not sure if the name will stay the same or if it will become Loving Hut.
Fortunately almost everything else including the owners and the menu stayed the same.
